Me puse en contacto con http://www.crumbproducts.com/, les pedí permiso para realizar alguna versión 3d de los dibujos de Robert Crumb. Les mandé las imágenes y el mismísimo Mr. Crumb me envió un par de mensajes de lo más amable:
Hey, that’s a great “Crumb girl” you created on your computer! You got it right in almost every detail. One criticism – toes of boots a tad too long in the front, I think. She looks a little like Serena Williams. Anyhow, your girl certainly does it for me! While you’re at it, how ‘bout some other views of her? Back view, looking over her shoulder, legs apart, for instance, or in other costumes – short skirt or shorts… Just suggestions. If you do create more such girls, please send the images to my email address!
This in reply to your email and the two images you sent on October 7. Sorry for the long delay. I was away for awhile and things pile up. Anyway, the two images are great! The “Crumb girl” now looks perfect and gives me a hard-on, and the guy in front of the TV captures the original spirit of my drawing completely. But I don’t understand how ezzackly you do these things. Are they actually three-dimensional sculptures or what?
